Getting started

Is the first education counselling session really free?

Yes. Your first session with one of our Qualified Education Agent Counsellors (QEAC) is free, in person, by phone or by video. There is no obligation to apply through us.

Who are your counsellors?

Saugat (QEAC 14085) and Anjan (QEAC 15343). Both are Qualified Education Agent Counsellors, and you can choose who you meet when you book.

What does QEAC mean?

QEAC stands for Qualified Education Agent Counsellor. Counsellors earn it by completing the Education Agent Training Course and passing its exam, and each gets a unique QEAC number. You can look counsellors up on the QEAC list.

Does education counselling include visa advice?

No. Education counselling covers courses, colleges, applications and study plans. For visa questions, book our registered migration agent partner.

Can you help me if I'm outside Australia?

Yes. We meet students by video, phone and WhatsApp wherever they are. On our booking pages, times are shown in Sydney time and in your own time zone.

Where do your students study?

In Sydney, in regional New South Wales and in Tasmania. See where to study for how they compare.

Do you speak Nepali?

Yes. You can talk to us in English or नेपाली, and family members are welcome to join the conversation.

Can I visit your office?

Yes, by appointment. We're at 12/7-9 Churchill Avenue, Strathfield NSW 2135. Book a time so a counsellor is free when you arrive.

Courses and colleges

What's the difference between VET and university?

VET (vocational education and training) is practical and built around specific jobs. It is taught by TAFE institutes and private colleges. University study is more academic, with more theory and research. Many students start in VET and move into a degree with credit. See the full comparison.

What is CRICOS?

CRICOS is the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students. If you study on a student visa, both your provider and your course must be registered on it. We only shortlist CRICOS-registered courses.

What is a CoE?

A Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) is the document your provider issues after you accept an offer and pay your deposit. You need it for a student visa application. We track it with you until it arrives.

Can I get credit for study I've already done?

Possibly. Providers can give credit transfer for completed study, or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for skills you already have. Each provider decides, so we ask for it when we apply on your behalf.

Do you help with English tests?

We explain which English tests your chosen course accepts and the scores it asks for, so you can plan your preparation and book the right test.

Can I change my course or college?

Sometimes, but the rules tightened in October 2026. Moving to a new provider is now generally restricted during the first 12 months of your main course, and changing course can affect your visa.

Talk to us about the study side, and book a registered migration agent for the visa side before you withdraw or transfer.

Migration agent bookings

Is Zenova a migration agent?

No. Zenova Education is an education consultancy. We don't give visa advice. Visa consultations booked through our website are with Lilash Yadav (MARN 2318244), a registered migration agent at 4A Consulting Services Pty Ltd.

How do I check that an agent is registered?

Search the agent's name or MARN on the official Register of Migration Agents. Every registered agent has a unique MARN and must follow the Code of Conduct.

How much does a consultation cost?

Requesting a booking is free. If the agent charges a consultation fee, they will tell you the amount in writing before your appointment, so you can decide before you pay anything.

Can I book from outside Australia?

Yes. Choose a phone or video consultation. Times are offered in Sydney time, and the booking page shows your local time too.

What should I have ready for the consultation?

Your passport, your current visa grant notice, any letters from the Department of Home Affairs, and your CoE or study documents. Write down your questions beforehand.

Does Zenova get paid for referring me?

Zenova may receive a referral fee from 4A Consulting Services when we introduce a client. Zenova and 4A Consulting Services are separate businesses, and the agent's advice is their own.

Privacy

What happens to the details I send you?

We use them to answer your enquiry and arrange what you ask for. We only share your booking details with the migration agent when you agree to it. Read our privacy policy for the full picture.

Should I send my passport number or ImmiAccount password?

No. Never put passport numbers in a website form, and never give anyone your ImmiAccount password. If documents are needed, we or the agent will tell you how to share them safely.
